1: HBD actress-KJLH radio personality, Tami Mac!
2: With writer-showrunner, Kellie Griffin at Tami’s BDay Party. She knows e’rybody!
3-5: Loved Mr Simms treating me to an impromptu trip to San Diego!
6-8: Had a blast sharing the stage with showrunner, Yvette Lee Bowser and Oscar nominated filmmaker, Dianne Houston to perform my throwback poem, “Cancelled,” at the Committee of Black Writer’s first storytelling salon!
9: Secured the trademark for my poducuseries, Works~N~Progress! So proud of myself!
10 – 11: Jetted home for a quick visit to help my sister care for my favorite girl and celebrate my mom’s 75th Birthday!
12-14: Attended the Hollywood premiere of “Two Classes of 1968,” a documentary I co-wrote-produced with director-producer, Nichelle Protho, at the Pan African Film Festival!
15: Continued adapting a novel to screen with my buddy, Milton, by my side. Can’t wait to share it with you, Fam!
16-18: Was honored to speak on the Organization of Black Screenwriters Black History Panel with Jennifer Williams, Willie Davis, Zelie Dember-Slack, Quinn Jones and Doreene L. Hamilton at the Motion Picture and Television Fund campus. Thank you, Kimberly Allen, for inviting me. It was a wonderful reminder that we all have stories to tell! I can’t wait to come back and volunteer. ❤️
