Good news, Fam! My new creative non-fiction essay about my mother – who is a cancer survivor and my shero – has just been published!
This week, I began my third semester at Pasadena City College (the alma mater of my shero Octavia Butler, by the way) and I’m slowly forging a path towards my goal to earn a Ph.D. in Sociolinguistics at the University of Southern California!
