“Nana’s Fridge” featured on WDIV Detroit News!

Rhonda Walker reads to DAAS students20160324110404_2440289_ver1.0_1280_720Happy Thursday, Fam! Wanted to share a blessing I woke up to yesterday.

Two years ago, I wrote a children’s book, “Nana’s Fridge” as a gift for my nieces and I went back home to Detroit to do reading/workshops  at Bates Academy (their school),  the YMCA Detroit Academies, Ann Arbor Middle school and the Delta Freedom School.  I also made  appearances  at the Detroit Public Library, my home church Corinthian Missionary Baptist and a local bakery, Good Cakes and Bakes.

The experience was fun, unexpected and exhausting. LOL!

Now — Let me show you how God do —  two years later a childhood friend now school teacher invites news personality Rhonda Walker read my children’s book  “Nana’s Fridge” to her kindergarten class as part of WDIV’s Reading Month program!

Ain’t that amazing? 🙂 More proof of what happens when you’re obedient.
