Funny. When faced with a challenge or problem, my brain shifts into a certain gear….
A gear that has protected me since I was a child.
A gear that has strengthened and continues to fortify me as artistpreneur-producer.
A gear born out of distress, oiled by my tears and infused by my faith that whatsomeever happens to me, to those I love or the world crumbling around me…that I’m gonna be OK.
The Libra in me commands it. The Scorpio in me fights for it. And the God in me – instilled by my daddy, momma and ancestors – BELIEVES it.
And for all of my sister-brother gear shifters out there, I pray you believe it, too.
