Hey, Fam! Hope your 2019 is off to a great start.
Thanks to pressing family issues, my New Year has been interesting so far, to say the least.
Still, with all that’s going on in my life, I made a resolution promise to myself…. To get known by the folks making decisions in this crazy ass town.
That’s what the meme above is about and honestly, it has been a good reminder for me to keep doing something I dread doing — Putting myself out there.
So far this year, I’ve reworked one t.v. pilot, written a new one, started rewriting a feature and I’ve submitted all three projects, one other screenplay and my novel to five programs.
Will any of this result into anything? Who the hell knows. I just want folks to get used to seeing my name and reading my work and if I make it to the next round, I know I’m ready.
I’m so ready.
