Fam, the past week was rough for me. My computer died and I thought I lost EVERYTHING. But thank GOD, my genius husband — my hero Ryeal RelationshipScientist Simms — saved my files AND he fixed my laptop!!!
I’m not gone lie….for 7 plus days, I questioned my reason for being. Why did I work so hard? Why did I sacrifice so much to write and create to end up with nothing to show for it?
Fam, I was soooooo disheartened. Then, Ryeal saved and backed up my files, and one by one, I came across all of the #WGA registrations for scripts I’ve written since 2016. And today, 3 more came in the mail.
What’ll happen with these projects, I can’t control. But I tell you this…. I WON’T STOP WRITING.
It’s what I was put on earth to do — No matter the obstacles. With or without representation. Period.
Can’t wait to see what 2019 brings. 😊
