Closer To My Childhood Dream for $1 Trillion, Alex!

Fam, I’ve always been fascinated with game shows.

Growing up, I played along with some classics….

From “Family Feud” to “Hollywood Squares”….

“Let’s Make A Deal” to “Name That Tune” 

 And “100.000 Pyramid”  to “Wheel of Fortune,”

I’ve shouted out answers while enjoying all of them on my TV.

But only one is my absolute favorite.

I know you see the pics, Fam, but c’mon, play along  — 

Answer: Currently, in its 42nd season, this quiz show has won a record 45 Emmys and was created by Merv Griffin in 1964.

Question: What is Jeopardy!? 

That’s right, Fam, I’m a Jeopardy! nerd 🤓 

In fact,  long before I saw Rosie Perez’s character in “White Men Can’t Jump” appear on the show, I’ve dreamed of pressing the clicker myself.  

I’ve also taken (and failed  😄) the online test more than a few times.

And I would love to be a writer on the show — Anybody reading this who can hook a sister up, let me know!

That’s why for the New Year — while I keep working on finally passing the online Jeopardy! test and making my way into their writers room — I jumped at a chance to go to a taping of Pop Culture Jeopardy! yesterday.

I really enjoyed geeking out with an audience of worldwide Jeopardy! heads. And just being in the space inspired me even more to keep at it. 

One day, I’ll be on the show as a contestant or a staff writer or both, Fam.

Trust. 

Now, I’m one step closer.
