Enjoy My WorksNProgress Remix!

Fam, I’ma keep it real with you. 

Life has been life-ing for me lately — as I’m sure it has been for you, too. So, I have to delay this month’s episode of #WorksNProgress. 

At first, I was feeling down about this, because – come hell or high water – I’ve been able to consistently share a new episode every second Wednesday since we launched in April. 

Then, I reframed the reason for the delay — 

I’m a co-caregiver for my mom and every quarter, I return home to Detroit to be boots on the ground and help my sister take care of her. When I’m there, I’m at her full disposal.  And yes, it can be stressful at times. But I am so grateful I can still spend time with my mom. Even when she’s grumpy and fussing at me. 😄

That’s the real reason I’m late with this month’s episode.

But you know what? Here’s the thing about being the captain of your own ship. You can always  reroute your course. 

So, instead of a new episode — Don’t worry, a new one’s coming next week — I’m sharing some of my fan favorite moments from the show so far!
