Proud Auntie Alert!
Fam, living away from home as a Hollywood writer half of my adult life, I’ve had to sacrifice and celebrate family events from a distance.
At times, it’s made me sad that I had to watch my nieces and nephew grow up in pictures, because of finances, time constraints and work commitments.
But today, I was all smiles at my nephew Elijah’s 4th grade award ceremony! He’s continuing on to the 5th grade as a superstar math and science scholar, and he’s got the receipts to prove it!
Thank you, Baby Jesus, for moments like these.
