Sony Studios….Check!

Welp, Fam, it’s day 86 of our #WGAstrike.

And despite it being 101 degrees when I drove from South Pas to #SonyStudios – located in a slightly cooler Culver City – I was still determined to check my 8th studio off of the picket location list.

Three gates to choose from, I joined a small, but dedicated group at the Washington gate, and I purposely wasn’t chatting anyone up at first. (People-ing, for an introvert, can be exhausting)

But then, about an hour in…

I got to fan girl with a Jeopardy! writer. (I will, one day, appear on the show and write for it. Trust!)

I met seasoned strike captains who shared steps, wisdom and updates with me. (It’s working #WGA Fam. We’ve gotta to hold on!)

And I got a much needed boost of encouragement from a kind writer-showrunner.
