My parents divorced when I was 9 years old.
But before they split, my late Dad — He was a master plumber and just passed away this March — started building a bathroom in our basement.
He never finished it.
Fast forward 40 years later (almost) and my mom – who lives alone – SWEARS she’s hearing noises in her basement.
My sister checked it out, though, and didn’t find any critters or people under the stairs. So….
I told Momma it was Daddy coming back to finally finish what he started, and she was NOT trying to hear it!
